what team shall i sign up for?

Participants must sign up for the team & division within their district.  Which is determined by participants current physical home address. 

Kahului - Kanaloa Avenue (zoo side) to Paia.
Kihei - Maalaea, Kihei, Wailea and Makena
Kulamalu -  Hali'imaile, Makawao, Haiku, Pukalani and Kulamalu
Keiki Sabers (10U only) - Iao Stream to Kahakuloa (incl. Hawaiian Homes & Happy Valley)
Lahaina - Lahaina to Kapalua
Wailuku - Kanaloa Avenue (stadium side) to Iao Stream

Maui Pop Warner may request proof of residency.

When does the season officially start & end?

Official season dates begins August 1st through the end of November.

when do practices take place?

Practices begin on August 1st and take place from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM weekdays. Practices will run Monday through Friday, not to exceed 10 hours per week (excluding water breaks) until Labor Day. After Labor Day, practices are reduced to 3 - 4 days a week (Not to exceed 6 hours per week) at the same above-mentioned times.  Maui Pop Warner requires that ALL players attend ALL practices in August (Please keep this in mind when planning summer vacations) For those players who cannot attend all practices in August, we will do our best to allow each child to make up lost time and still enjoy a great season!  *Practice times and days of the week subject to change after Labor Day. Your team's coach will provide all practice schedule information.

When are games played?

All season games are scheduled on Saturday's and/or Sunday's.  Locations and times TBD.

special events

JAMBOREE - Is a time that all teams scrimmage each other in 10 minutes increments.  Teams will have a chance on both offense & defense. We also have our opening ceremony for the upcoming season. Jamboree is held the Sunday after Labor Day at War Memorial Stadium.

TURKEY BOWL - The top teams complete within their division.  Off-island teams will also be invited to participate in the this bowl game. This annual 2 day event is held on the Friday & Saturday after Thanksgiving at the War Memorial Stadium times TBD.
